Longish driving trip to Jupiter Beach area for work. Went to Wellington, FL for the job, a small fire suppression company using FM-200 (heptafluoropropane) for passive fire supression triggered by heat.
Okeechobee had a cool downtown, nice veteran’s memorial and laid back atmosphere. The lake has part of the Florida Trail going along the dam, miles and miles of walking with great vistas of blue skies and all the shades of green. Great fishing pier at the boat ramp park where US98 hits the lake.

Jupiter beach. Beautiful, but painful sand- sharp coral sand, be careful!

At the pier park (Juno Beach) there is also a huge nature perserve, felt great to get out of the sun for a bit. So cool going from ocean to forest to open scrubs. The preserve goes all the way to the intercostal.

Rueben eggrolls / redneck eggrolls. Spaetzl. Yum!

Lake Placid- old railroad mill. The tracks are right under the auger that was used to fill train cars.
